COVID -19 AND THE RACE
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic and the size of our event, coupled with permitting uncertainties, we have decided the safest option is to switch to virtual mode. We want our running community to remain healthy and still celebrate the In the cut 5k. Thus we are switching all current and future entrants to the virtual option.
WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RACE?
There's no official starting line. Participants select a distance and sign up. Our race day challenge allows runners or walkers to complete the distance at any time between the specified dates and upload the results for participants to earn their finisher medal anywhere.
Runners will be given the opportunity to download an electronic bib as well.
"For us, virtual racing is not a replacement, but an addition to our conventional race. Realizing the many unknowns exist today until we can get back to the course, this is an opportunity for everyone to continue to participate." - In the cut 5k
