What are the day of logistics?

 

After registration, each participant receives a confirmation email with all the particulars. But just in case you can’t find it in email.

Can I register on race day?

 

Yes! You can register on race day. Save $5 and register before plus you are guaranteed all participant materials if you register 7 days before the event.

 

What comes with registration?

 

Runners/Walkers get a stylish In the Cut 5k shirt and 5k official medal (as a prize for completion) and a race packet, with water a nutrition bar, full of deals from our incredible sponsors. T-shirts and medals may not be available for those who register on-site or who have missed the prescribed early window.

When do I pick up my race packet?

 

You may pick up your race packet the morning of the race, at the start location. Packets will contain bib, t-shirt and a health bar.

 

How early should I show up for each race?

 

To be safe, you should be at your selected event at least 45 minutes ahead of time. This will allow you to pick-up your race packet and get properly warmed up.

 

Is the IntheCut5k timed?

 

This race is a fun run/walk, meaning it’s not competitive. You can sprint, jog, or skip, your way through the course. It’s up to you. That being said, we’re planning to have it digitally timed and the results posted day of.

 

Am I registered?

 

After registration you will receive a confirmation message on screen as well as a confirmation email with additional logistics.

 

Are there prizes for top finishers in each race?

 

We offer medals for all race finishers and trophies in age group categories.

 

What is the weather usually like?

 

At 7:30 a.m. the weather has historically been in the low 70's, but by noon it is usually upper 70's.

 

What if I need to cancel?

 

Entry fees are generally non-refundable. That means that once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate, UNLESS you have purchased our Registration Refund option during registration. Additionally You may not transfer your entry to another year.

 

Can I participate as a Vendor?

Where is the best place to park?

There will be directional signs to park in and new the Nankin Mills recreation area on the morning of. Entrance off of Ann Arbor Trail.

 

Is there a safe place to leave my belongings when I participate?

 

While the parking area and the route will be secured and monitored by a private security firm and Wayne County Sheriff, we recommend you bring as little as possible to the actual run. 

 

What if I'm injured and I cannot participate?

 

If you selected the REGISTRATION REFUND option when you registered online. This is a one-time option (which must be paid for at the time of registration), which offers runners/walkers a 100% non-transferable refund of their registration fee for covered reasons such as injury, illness, and unexpected travel delays. Unfortunately  refunds cannot be provided since funds will have been spent in preparation for Race Day.
